WDM 9000
Wireless data modem 32K/64K/96K Baud with Ethernet interface
With the wireless data modem WDM 9000, you can easily monitor and control windmills, solar parks and biogas plants. It transmits Ethernet data using a standard frequency range of 406 – 470 MHz. The data modem can be used in industrial sectors like electric power, water management and transportation. The modem transfers wireless data over several kilometers using a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint connection. The data transmission in simplex or semi-duplex operation enables bandwidths of up to 28.8 kB/s, depending on the modulation used. With a simplex frequency, bandwidths of up to 57.2 kB/s can be attained.
Depending on your needs, you can use 3 types of modulations: 4QAM, 16QAM and 64QAM – using a channel spacing of 25 kHz with maximum transmission rates of 32 kB/s, 64 kB/s and 96 kB/s respectively.
With the USB interface and the corresponding software, you can easily adjust important parameters like the Ethernet settings, the RF power and type of modulation.
The numerous function and status indicators at the front of the data modem show you the current status of the device. The data modem uses a voltage of 13.2 or 18-60 V.
